Important AscendEx Announcement:
Today AscendEx notified us that they have noticed a security breach in their exchange hot wallet. AscendEx have assured us and their users that they will refund any and all losses, and DAFI users will be compensated in full if affected.
Rest assured that all DAFI held on their exchange will be covered by AscendEx. We were notified that multiple projects were affected, and approximately $430k DAFI was affected (15.17m DAFI). We have a stablecoin treasury as a precautionary cover measure too.
DAFI is incredibly strong despite the breach of a 3rd party, and this will not slow us down. We understand that AscendEx are in communication with law enforcement & forensics to mitigate any potential damage. We will be providing more information as soon as we have it. We are also offering our support to them during this event, if they require any resources/support!

They have provided further updates in this thread in which they confirm they are working with CEX’s to blacklist associated addresses.
